Plus TTA will be there with Interzone, Black Static - their new horror magazine, Crimewave and Alison.

One of Interzone's editors, Andy Hedgecock, will also be there.

Brian, Alex no longer works for Derby council so is not organising this year's event, though I understand he is still helping out. He now has a new job, with Solaris books I believe.

After some shifting of dates, the convention has now been confirmed for Saturday June 20th; I'm afraid I don't have any more details at this stage.

Oh, crap - I've been looking forward to this for ages, but I never knew the date - suddenly 5 days notice is far too little.

I'd Google'd for alt-fiction, and the only information I found was the now disused blog so I thought there was nothing happening this year.

Or - is it still on? Roy posted here that it'll be back in 2010 instead?

Don't worry, Brian, you didn't miss it. The whole event was cancelled this year for a number of reasons, largely revolving around redundancies etc within the department, from what I could gather, but they're planning to return next year... So it's watch this space!
