His scarred face was etched with sadness. He looked down from his throne, past short legs swinging child-like between sharp points of steel. Dead, he thought. All dead. Mother, father, sister, brother... that last brought a twist of sadness to him. Dead upon his word, or by his hand. All dead. And for what? For this?

He sighed, wishing it could all be over so that he could retire to his rooms with a gallon of the Arbor's finest. A cold room, alone. He barely heard the cry as it was taken up by the crowd. He tried a weak grin, but found he could not stomach it.

"All hail Tyrion of Westeros," they crowed, "King of the Seven Kingdoms!"

Fools, he thought. Damned fools.
