Re: Final lines....

Ursa... that was hilarious!

Callahan glanced at his friend and allowed his face to melt into a mask of despair, "Yeah, but I spilled my coffee..."

with a heart felt sigh, he wiped the fresh blood from his blade and wondered why nobody wanted to listen to good advice.

"if only they'd listened they'd have seen that one coming" Davis said to himself as he switched off the radar.

Re: Final lines....

"Hang on a minute lads, I've got a great idea!"

;P

Or an original (if less memorable) one:

"Don't worry. In another minute, the bomb will go off on the Archoverlord's mothership, and we'll be riding the explosion all the way back to the First Earth Dimension"
The others said nothing. Tracy in particular seemed to have something on her mind. Then suddenly, she jumped out of her seat and clutched her tangled hair.
"Oh no," she said in a hollow voice. "We left Barney behind again!"
Afterwards, they all agreed it had been an impressive explosion.

Re: Final lines....

That concludes the world of magic, and the beginning of another. The first words?

"Let there be light."

Far above him, the messenger bird called out once and flew towards him, carrying details of his next mission in the pouch tied to its leg.

Re: Final lines....

"you know what Goran?"
"no"
"with all those unanswered questions, we are a dead cert for a sequel. and if we play our cards right, a trilogy is a distinct possibility"
"true enough, Jasper, true enough. to be honest, I could do with a nice steady series to keep the bank manager off my back"

Re: Final lines....

"After all I've been through, and after what she did to Tom, you want me to avoid hurting her feelings?" She licked her wrist once more before rubbing it over her ear. "I'm Queen now, and I'll call a Spayed and Spayed if I want."

Re: Final lines....

Her boss returned to the office.
"Anything happened?" he asked.
"No," she replied, "It's been quiet, as usual!"

--------------------------------------------

He looked in the mirror and realised that he had now become his own father.

--------------------------------------------

And the children never did find out what had ever become of George.
