Dinner With Neil Gaiman

Hi folks,

I'm having dinner with Neil Gaiman next month. It's part of a promotion of his book M is for Magic with the local book store, although I picked it up last year in Malaysia when visiting Nesa. This will be a highlight for sure!

Actually it's a literary dinner with Neil talking for about 20 mins and then taking Q&A for the reaminder of the hour.

Date is 5th May.

Anyways, I'm just wondering if any of you have any questions I can pass onto Neil if I get the chance?

Cheers....

Besides the one about why Fate favors you so much over me, I would ask him has he had any dreams lately.

His dreams usually become stories, you know. At least the good ones with lots of potential story material.

It'd be nice to know what he thinks of China Mieville's work? And also whether he has a specially pally bond with any of the other famous fantasy writers of today.

Well yes I could certainly see if I can possibly arrange an online interview with him Cull or even get him to drop in.

Good suggestion....

See if you can pin down a publication date for his latest book about a boy brought up by the dead in a cemetary.

It's called 'The Graveyard book' and is released in the states towards the end of September - not sure when it's released in the UK though.

Nah, I'm not jealous...unless lobster is on the menu.

I'd also like to ask if there will be another Good Omens but consider Mr. Pratchett's health condition, may be not. Send my regards.

Thanks Kaneda. The first chapter is wonderful but he didn't say anything about when the whole book was making an appearance.
