Looking for a series.....

I read it back in high school and can't for the life of me remember a title or an author. It was about two shape shifters and I think they were fey (?) or one was and the other was half...it was like a 3 or 4 book series. I think the author was a woman. I think the title to one of the books was blood moon...or something like that..... Any help would be greatly appreciated, I have been trying to find these books for forever with no luck!

A lot of shape shifter stories out there.... Any plot details you can remember? What did they shape shift into?

Re: Looking for a series.....

It might help if we had a better idea when you read the book -- "back in high school" is rather vague since we don't know how old you are.

If the two main characters were gay, that does somewhat narrow the field of likely authors -- but it would narrow it a lot more if it was an older book.

Re: Looking for a series.....

*laughs* From the description you gave I immediately thought of C.S. Friedman's "Coldfire Trilogy".

Since it is not, look it up anyway - excellent series.
