not too long ago i came across a website for a book that interested me

of what i can remember the plot concerned a phenomena where people, of all ages, started killing other people for no apparent reason

that's all i can remember of the book, other than that it came out not too long ago (year or so)

can anyone help?

Sounds like James Herbert's The Fog, but that was a pretty old book.

Stephen King's Cell fits part of the bill.........

Even if you haven't read King's Cell I'd suggest you give it a go. That was the only King book that ever really held my intrest.

As for your question, do you remember if they changed at all before they started killing? In Cell they pretty much became like zombies (it was actually moe complicated than that), but whatever.

they didnt change.. they would use whatever they could find to kill another person

it was like, everyone thinking that everyone had 'it' and would kill them before they killed others

i know the book had an official website..

and the page was white and splattered with blood...lol?

Think. Think hard. Close your eyes and re-experience the time when you saw this website. How long ago? What were you doing? What led you there? Who wrote the f**kin' story? Has it been made into a film?

Give us some names!

Lol, Cell - Now Available In Stores and Online, are you sure.............it wasn't Cell.

i am so positive it wasn't the cell

it was like.... people just woke up and felt the urge to kill.. no one knew who was one of the 'killers', etc... could be anyone..

i wish i remembered more... i havent been able to find more info about it... it sucks
