| Re: Writing Accents Kissmequick's method is the one I have always advocated in other threads on this topic. Besides, everyone pronounces vowels differently; therefore, they will likely pronounce your phoenetic spellings differently. I suppose that you can put in an occaisional to-mah-toe to say, "not an American" or idear to say "New Englander". |
