| They said the same thing when I saw Interview with a Vampire before reading Vampire Chronicals. The only thing that the movie did to me was give me some faces to associate with the names... even though Armand should have looked like Louis, only younger. Heck, most of the cast should have been younger... Sorry, went off on a tear, there.
The movie in my mind will just be a piece of entertainment. I can't associate a movie with a book, no matter how close the two are to one another. When I see the movie or read the book for the first time, I will point out the differences, but afterwards, they really don't mean much to me.
And all I have to say is Queen of the Damned had better be a good movie. |
