| Re: New Star Wars Film I thought only Masters had apprentices... and if he had anyone else as significant as an apprentice in his life, it would make no sense at all for that person not to be in the movies... just like it would make no sense for him to have one while he's still hanging around all the time with his own teacher. |

| Re: New Star Wars Film I think Jedi are generally considered masters after successfully training a padawan, though said padawan would always consider the knight a master by default. I don't think Obi Wan was truly considered a master in all jedi circles until after Anakin was dubbed. Anakin may have had an apprentice and still not been a true master. In Ep. 3 the little youngling referred to Anakin as "Master Skywalker" though Anakin wasn't a master. Master seems like a loose term even though Anakin was *A SPY* on the jedi council, and for the jedi council. |
