It's officially open...

The chronicles network news blog is now open.

Still got a few rough patches, but we'll get those dealt with.

Littlemissattitude, Dwndrgn, Knivesout, Foxbat, and myself, will try and use the news blog for posting interesting news and developments.

We'll still use the forums for discussing news issues - by adding a news section as a blog, my personal feeling is that we can expend the accessibility of the chronicles network.

I've posted up a few film news stories - but I'll get any literature and general publishing news up.

Although the news blog will have a distinct SFF flavour, I'm planning to have a wider policy on the areas covered - such as arts and publishing news, for example, which may be particular useful for the site's aspiring writers.

As ever, comments and suggestions welcome.

Brian may I suggest the link at the end of each blogs entry points to a dedicated thread or at least at the part of the forum related (for example Gaming with today entry) ? Non-member could be lost if they suddenly come from the blog to the forum index.
And is there still positions available ?

Good point - need to link blog topics to forum.

As for posts - everything is very experimental at the moment - definitely something to look at. See if existing staff can get to grips with it first.
