the sorcerer warrior

hi itsa been a while since i was on heres an idea i just got suddenly not the most original but yeah it just came to me what you guys think

The Sorcerer Warrior

The Blood Moon

The entire army had surrounded the lone warrior. The sound of clashing blades and dying breaths ran across the plain. The lone warrior could taste the dryness in his mouth, he had been battling for hours, and he was exhausted, only adrenaline kept him from collapsing. His chest pained as he breathed heavily. Sweat dripped from his forehead. His highly trained senses were nearly perfected by the boost of adrenaline.

He heard yet another soldier pounce towards him, he quickly turned to face his attacker, as he did he heard several others also gain the same notion. With several swings of his sword, the soldiers lay at his feet, but this time he did not escape unscathed. He placed his hand on his shoulder and looked at the bright red blood that appeared.

“He’s injured get him!” One of the soldiers screamed.
At once, the entire army swooped on the lone warrior. He managed to block majority of the flurry of blows, but once he believed they were getting too much for him, he spun around in a circle, creating space and then began to cast a spell.
Blood Moon
A dark dome manifested around the area, from the outside, the king could not see his army. Inside the army began dying.

The lone warrior able to see through his own illusion began preparing a several new spells as soon as this one ceased he would cast them. As soon as the dark sphere began to dissipate, large magical arrows impaled the king’s guards and their steeds.
My blade shall cut you down!
The lone warrior hurled his blade at the king, more than 500 meters away. The blade flew straight at the king.

“My king!” said the last guard as he reared his horse up attempting to intercept the blade. The blade lodged itself in the guard and his steed.
You will not stop me!
The lone warrior motioned a spell with his hand then shouted. The sword transformed into a fiery spear and ripped through the guard, then headed straight to the king, who had his sword now drawn, he reared his horse up attempting to block the magical spear but to no affect, the horse dropped to the ground with a large charred hole in its trunk, sending the king flying onto the spear.

It did not impale him completely. He dropped his sword and tried to pull the spear from his chest.
No!
The spear ripped through the king’s body leaving it motionless on the ground. The lone warrior turned around, holding his hand in the air, his sword returned to him. He slowly holstered it behind his back.

He felt pain writhe through his body as he began to age again, he felt in his pocket for the tablets and swallowed them.
