| Re: CD Hauls Just picked up a 5 CD boxed set of Ian Gillan Band/Gillan stuff. It appears I have now formally entered my mid-life crisis ![]() Saw Rory Gallagher live a couple of times (Glasgow Apollo) in the 70s. His acoustic set still brings back very happy memories. Better known for his lively electric work, he was one of the most underrated acoustic blues guitar players ever. |

| Re: CD Hauls He is great on the piano, in fact all the instruments are very good, I love the clarinet in After You're Gone (and the song in general) it's just with Hugh Laurie's vocals, some like the title track I really like but other times he seems to be trying too hard to put a blues accent on it. All just my 2 cents of course. |
