I just finished the revised edition.

Does anyone know what differences REF made in this version vs the original version.

I think it was primarily the ending, but I'm not too sure. Is there a message at the end of the book? I think there is in mine, I'll get back to you later

There is a message but doesn't exactly tell what changed, just parts of the ending. Though I seem to think Arutha made James, Duke of Krondor in the original.

I'm not too sure for I haven't read the original. Although didn't James become Duke at the start of the SoaDQ? And I'm sure the revised edition was written after SoaDQ
