My name is steve bolger. I'm 36 yrs old and barely able to use this computer. I'm a complete fantasy nut and can't wait to talk to others about my passion. I'm from ireland and as you can probably tell, i'm new to chat rooms and the internet in general. take it easy on me please

You don't have to be a computer wizz to be part of this site. Oh, sure, you'll find knowledgable discourse about RAM, screen drivers and Opera (not the Italien invention for driving us all nuts, in case it interests you. Mind you, being nuts is no drawback, in case you were wondering) but you can just skim over those, pretend they're science fiction.
No, this is an exceedingly sociable region, somewhat addictive, a bit time consuming perhaps but friendly to a fault.
Don't worry about the monsters you might meet; most of them are members (and with the others, it's too late to worry)
Welcome to the outer edges of irreality.

If your a "complete fantasy nut" there is no better place to be than on the chronicles; some of the people here are the most intelligent and acknowledgeable on the topic of SF&F that I've ever seen in my entire life! (not kidding).
