| Re: Submitting part of a trilogy I think I know what John and Dr Sax is talking about, as now on the fourth or fifth run (I lost the count) on my story, I feel that I just let everything come out and I am on 83 000 word marker. However, I do have some self restriction, as I try to form my story so that it is better and much rounder then it used to be. I might be doing something wrong, but as they say, it is easier to cut it out, then put it in. Also note on the cyberpunk is issue, I thought it over and I understand, even got some of new ideas on the story. |

| Re: Submitting part of a trilogy My first novel was also 83,000 words. It would be considered too short for mainstream publication, but it was picked up by an independent press. Don't disregard this avenue. |
