Gaiman to make one of his books available for free online. Apparently, Gaiman's publisher has given their permission for him to make one of his books available for free online. It looks like it's up to his fans to determine which of his books that is. You can vote for your choice here: Neil Gaiman - Neil Gaiman's Journal: The Birthday Thing

Re: Gaiman to make one of his books available for free online. I voted M is for Magic as well, but most people voted for American Gods. I suspect that is the one that everyone has already read (since it is one of the most famous of his works), which makes me wonder why they wouldn't vote for one which they haven't read ![]()

Re: Gaiman to make one of his books available for free online. I voted for Stardust. It's a good place to start and it's usually what I give to friends I'd like to introduce to Neil's work. It has not failed thus far.

Re: Gaiman to make one of his books available for free online. Another reason why i love neil - such a nice thing to do!! I was torn between neverwhere and american gods. Eventually went for neverwhere, as if anyone had not read a Gaiman book that is the one I would recommend. Such a nice thing to do!!
