Just finished all the books

Well, I have just finished both the imperial trilogy and the darkweaver legacy. It was awesome. I don't read that much and this one time I was at my Gran's house there was a book, I was quite bored so I started to read it, I got sucked into it. It was called the imperial spy *gasps*.

Anyways, I then got all the other books and read them, the other day I finished. They are probably the best series that I have ever read (although I haven't read that many). I liked the way that the story was split, Calvyn in one place, Femke in another and the some other people in others. Amazing. Thanks for a such a great series, your a great writer Mark Robson.

Then i am also quite stuck for reading material until the dragon orb books come out. Are there any other book like these, can anyone tell me what they are?

Hey Rei Do Coco welcome to chronicles.
If you want some good fantasy reading, check out The Belgariad by David Eddings (there is a forum for him here). That was a series Mark suggested to me and it hooked me!

Good advice, (David Edding's early books) there are plenty of other good authors out there, just make sure you pre-order Mark's book as well!

Re: Just finished all the books

Welcome, Rei Do Coco. Great to see you here and glad that you've enjoyed reading my work so far.

Other books you might like to try (some of my favourites in the YA fantasy section) are Mortal Engines by Phillip Reeve, Wolf Brother by Michelle Paver, Sabriel by Garth Nix and The Amulet of Samarkand by Jonathan Stroud. Each of these is the start of a series, so by discovering each author an entire new world should open up for you.

The David Eddings tip is a great one, though. He was my favourite author when I was in my teens. Hope to see you around here again. There's a lot to see on the SFF Chronicles site - and the locals are reasonably friendly!
