just finished King's Dragon.

Man o Man.... that was pretty incredible. i devoured the novel and it knocked me on my ass. How the hell is this not more popular?? it is in the same league as the masterful Farseer and Tawny Man By Robin Hobb and ASOIAF by GRRM. im definitely ordering the remaining of the series. Damn i love fantasy... Something about the fantasy genre just gets me suped up. Few things in life are as amazing as being thoroughly enraptured in a great story. I was hoping maybe Allain and Liath were going to get together eventually down the line, but it seems liath is meant to be with Saglant.

Re: just finished King's Dragon.

What kind of fantasy was this book ? Is it epic or historical or heroic ?

I want to try this author and this book sounded interesting.

I just finsihed it too.. it wasn't brilliantr, but I kind of liked it.. have had it for years and been meanign to read it. Think I started it when I was about 15 and was vaguyely traumatised, but read it again recently.;

Re: just finished King's Dragon.

I have read only 150+ pages. So far nothing specially. Alain part of the story is more interesting than Liath's. I was temporally very excited when Alain met Lady of The Battles. When you saw alittle of what he might become later.

Hang in there, it starts slow from memory but builds momentum. I think I liked Book 2 more than Book 1 too...
