| Last wave for Golden Frog? It's an odd title, I know, but when I found this on the BBC website, I was surprised at what this frog can do, and a little sad that the remaining frogs in the area had to be moved in order to safeguard them. I'm glad they were able to catch it on film. BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | 'Last wave' for wild golden frog |

| Re: Last wave for Golden Frog? Aw, what a cute video! I love frogs... There's an accompanying article to that one: BBC NEWS | Science/Nature | Frog killer fungus 'breakthrough' They've found a tentative cure for the disease. The only problem is it's detrimental to humans, so I imagine using it in farmed areas will be problematic. Our local frog population has plummeted drastically over the last 10-15 years. We used to hear hundreds of them at night; now it's almost nothing. I'd love to hear them at night again. |
