Evening, DavidE35 (and "everyone" else).

I like your avatar; it's probably best to be cagey at first.

I'm fine, even though one of my puns has drawn the attention of JD.

Hands drink to David E25, "Anyone else ? Ursa is our resident pun-smith, and Freda is the large spider, it's OK, she's just getting your scent."

Ah, right ... So what sort of writing does everyone indulge in? My stuff tends to be comedy/horror or comedy/fantasy.

Talking about writing in the TEA ROOM? For shame! Have a cup of tea and pull up a chair, David!

Whoops! Didn't realise it was forbidden! Is it like a Fight-Club kind of thimg? "The first rule of the tea room, is that you don't talk about, um, writing"?

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Space opera in my case; not comedy as such, but there is at least one POV character with a pun tendency, and other characters make the odd quip.

Comedy sounds too much like hard work, e.g. keeping it going page after page. IMHO punning lends itself more to dialogue than narrative.

Karn't talk about writing? Of course we can!
