Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

*Lenny trots back in, a parcel under his arm*

Afternoon, Ace.

I walk out and get accosted by some postal worker with a package for "Birdy". Pah! "Birdy" indeed.

*Lenny puts the parcel down on a table and opens it*

Who on earth is sending me klaxons and lights?! What am I to do with klaxons and lights and... what on earth is this?! "Programmable Alarm".. complete with a manual.

*Lenny shakes his head and replaces everything in the box*

I don't know who sent it, and there's no return address on it. I've got everything in here in the sofa in some better form or other so, seeing as I'm not going to use it, do either of you want it? Hoopy? Ace?

I'll leave it here. If you want it, take it. I need to get on with my work.

Toodles!

*Lenny walks out of the room*

By the way - Top Poster, baybey!

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Woot!

Tee hee, it arrived. Awesome. This should be rather useful...

*Rummages in the box, discards the instruction manual, and goes about setting up the system, humming merrily from around a screwdriver clamped in her mouth as she does so*

*Muffled* 'llo, Ae.

Empties the piranhas into their new pool, feeds them and reads a couple of stories from 'Gruesome Fishy Tales III,' that should settle them a bit.

*Lenny trots in and sees the box of things still on the table*

Well, if no-one wants them, then...

*he picks up the box containing the klaxon and flashing lights, and drops them into his sofa*

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Ha!

*Klaxons go off with a deafening screech and the amber lights roll down from the ceiling and begin flashing madly*

*WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP WOOP...*

*Shouts over the noise* SPR alert!

*Turns off the alarms after a few more deafening seconds* Thanks, Emu

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

*the reality Lenny created by not reading wavers and snaps back into the real one. Lenny blinks and shakes his head, slightly confused*

Oooof. Didn't know it was going to do that.

And not a problem. Must get back to my work, now - I've opened the document and change three words so far!

Toodles.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Heh, sorry. They only go off for a short while. And yes, they do have to be loud...otherwise what's the point of an alarm?

Wrestles mural from 1-D pocket and leans it against a suitable stretch of wall, "Could someone give me a hand to hang this ?"
