Not In My Back Yard

Holland is crowded
Every building decision needs a permit.

ain't people dumb?

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Well that makes sense, I believe they have that attitude in most places. Here it is the same with building, they need approval and a permit, same if you want to sell food you need a food license and Liquor a Liquor license. thing need environmental impact studies and all sorts of other considerations.

Anyway I have started to waffle which is a sure sign I need to be put down. So I am going to hit the sack.

Night all

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

*Lenny wanders in, shaking his head at the dust that still covers all of the furniture, except for two chairs and his sofa. One chair is still wreathed in green smoke which should disperse around any movement, and the second chair has a dent in the seat where someone sat in it all night without moving once*

To quote...

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

*Steps in*

All right, all right, let the master in.

*Leaps onto the beanbags, kicking up a huge cloud of dust, bounces onto the sofas, skipping from one to the next, and dives gracefully over Lenny's sofa, rolls under the table, accidentally pulling off the tablecloth as she goes and causing a cascade of random items that had been left on it -- glasses, cups, random purple goo. Dives over the kitchen counter, bounces off the fridge, grabs a cup of tea from the urn as she passes. Leaps over the counter again, hits a wall, turns and runs up the stairs to the higher level and performs a balancing act along the railing before leaping onto a nearby beam and swings across them to the other side of the room. Finally drops from the last one to land on a sofa, producing a small dust cloud, and sits, panting and coughing on dust* There. *Sips her tea that's she managed to hold onto all this time*

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

You forgot the green smoke.

Impressive dust clouds though, I'll give you that.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

The green smoke can stay where it is.

And that's ingratitude for you. Again. I shan't do it again then. Let the furniture go dusty.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

In normal circumstances, no-one should have to do that. But... ah well.

Good day so far?

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Not particularly. Too much sleep. And nasty dreams to accompany it too. But it's wasted the day and now I really need to do some work.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Plenty left. Enough to drown someone in, I guess, what with no-one drinking it.

Ah. I just figured Hoopy'd be drinking it all. *pours himself a cup of hot blueberry tea* Good stuff, here.

So, how are we all today?
