I shall take offense and say women do not like a certain type of book. Some women do. I hate 'em. I can't go near those pink and fluffy books in bookshops, it burns me...

But the charity shops around here usually have a nice smattering of SF and fantasy.

OK some (more than a majority ) do -- and your lucky - ones I enter are lucky to have any books - let alone any fantasy!

Hehe. I prefer used book stores, myself, rather than general donation stores.

Intarweb. Much, much cheaper than bookstores.

Talking about stores, I was in Waterstones t'other day, looking at Erikson books, and lo and behold they had them on offer - 3 for 2 on books with the 3 for 2 sticker... only one book had the sticker. I felt like poinitng it out to them.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Yeah, that sounds kind of strange......maybe their other stickered books were bought?

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

I hate when they don't put stickers on, you're never quite sure if that book is included in the deal...they do it with Pratchett too...

And I beg to differ, Lenny, the internets has slightly cheaper books (sometimes half price if they've just come out, but so do most big chains). But second hand book shops and the like, you can get books for a mere 90p and etc.

One thing about internets, though, is more choice. That is one great thing about internets shopping.

Evening, PyPy.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

I can't say I frequent many second hand shops - as far as I know, I don't know any local second-hand bookstores, so the intarweb is my cheapest option
