Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Be lucky you have a generator for your place, mir. Ours goes *boop* whenever we have a high wind, and it can take days to get it back. At the last big one we had it was out for sixty hours. *shudder*

Uhhhhh......the last long power outage we had was 9 days......that one was BAD. They usually only last a day or two from snow or....a day from anything else.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Ech. Never had one that long, but just about every time a high wind comes up, with hurricane force gusts, the power always for some reason is out for around three days. I blame the power company people for that one, to be honest.......

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Medieval overhaul, Harpo? Is it being turned into a rack-based system?

Anyhow, I hope it turns out well (and is back to give you another long stretch of good service!).

And contrary to recent belief, the Tea Room isn't always a hive of activity...

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

You can get hangovers from chutney?

Good thing I never eat the stuff.

G'day, folks. Too much celebrating last night, it might seem. At least the Patriots lost.

Freda scuttles downstairs with the brownie on her head and both make a beeline for the kitchen.
