Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Well even though its only 8pm I must be off. I have to wash up *fun...NOT* and I'm going away with school tomorrow until Friday so I need to pack some stuff.

Next time I'm here I should be here in time for the busy time (jees I said time a lot in that sentence)

*A ghostly figure re-appears in the centre of the room*
Perp: Ahhh the Tea-room, or something very much like it....
*Takes a steps and is pulled away again, leaving only a few fluttering book pages to mark his ever being there*

Hallelujah! OZ was not gone! I can now tell them about this wonderfully insane place (if it isn't against the rules)

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

Don't worry about the sofas. Apart from mine (which lives in the raindbow-coloured alcove over there, with the oil painting hanging in it, and has gone travelling for a few weeks), the others aren't at all dangerous. Well, maybe a bit deeper than usual, should you fall down the back, but inanimate nonetheless.

Do please be careful. Not only is this place difficult to escape from, it is also violently contagious.Do you really want those poor innocents on your conscience?

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

True, it is better to leave the horrible secret of this cousin of Ry'leh. What sleeps underneath the random furniture? A tentacled horror beyond anything man has seen, a mass of rippling flesh that tears peoples limbs off, or a pink unicorn, which will destroy all of scientific rationality?

That makes me think of the Australians before they discovered sun block:
"We're off to see the wizened, the wonderful wizened of Oz!"
Sorry, and Afternoon, All.

And if there's something lurking under the furniture, Heretic, it'll probably be Tangle, the kitten that Freda keeps as a pet.

Re: The Tea Room, Mk. IV

We have many a strange creature around here. Freda the giant spider; the Diresters, half dire wolf, half giant hamster, the offspring of Algernon and Alice; shoggoths in the basement; K'Tabby, our baby elder god; singing white mice; flying monkeys; centaurs; the Windwalker in the hills; Sleipnir in the stables; the piranhas in the pool over there, etc etc...and that's just the non-members.
