On TV ... again!

This is getting to be a habit. I got a phone call at lunchtime from the BBC asking if I would come to London tomorrow morning to be one of the guests on the BBC1 TV Breakfast Show. They were looking for an ex-RAF pilot/instructor to comment on Prince William's flying training, but I should get a chance to plug my books as well ... at least, I hope so.

I accepted without even thinking about it. Feeling a little nervous now. A live interview on a show that's watched by several million viewers ... what could possibly go wrong?!

If nothing else I get to try out the famous sofa!

Oooh! What time is it on? I'm home tomorrow morning on Study Leave. If it's not too early, then I'll drag myself out of bed and give you a good staring! Muahaha!

Re: On TV ... again!

I was going to say I might be able to crawl out of bed and watch it too...

But now you've said that unholy time, I don't think so...

Heh, I might try to, but either way, hope it goes well! And go you, you tv star, we'll be seeing you on every channel soon, it seems

Re: On TV ... again!

Ten past Seven? Ah... that's the whole point of study leave if your exam is in the afternoon - so you don't have to wake up before 11.

If I'm awake, then I'll watch it, but I can't promise anything.

Good luck with it! Make sure you tell everyone how good Chrons is!

Oh, congratulations, Mark! I'm sure you'll be a hit.

I wish it was possible to see the segment here, but short of someone putting it on Youtube ...

'twas at 7:10 am, and Mark was informative and funny in his brief appearance

hehe, "the cows get bigger." Is that a standard RAF training quote?

Not quite a standard training quote, Joel, but a well-worn phrase.

Re: On TV ... again!

Congratulations Mark ... I do hope you get a chance to talk about your books and I too wish I could see this.

Maybe I could ask someone to tape it and watch it over Eastercon. That would work.

Good luck.
