Amazon's CreateSpace program?

I just became aware of this and it sounds interesting. The idea of POD being run from a seller site is pretty powerful.

Not to mention the idea that it publishes CD's, DVD's, etc. in addition to books.

Anybody know anything about this program? Used it? Is there any stigma or drawback to it?

Re: Amazon's CreateSpace program?

There are a couple of threads on Absolutewrite about it, might be worth ploughing through them. Seems to be some concern about the ISBN numbers.

Re: Amazon's CreateSpace program?

Thanks.

Yeah, I ran into some of the snarl on ISBN numbers. People are up at arms, but I can't figure out why it matters.

Re: Amazon's CreateSpace program?

I don't think it'll prove a true rival to Lulu until the products are available beyond Amazon.com.
