I don't feel I can vote, having only read 2 out of 4, but I'll look.
I think that JKR's writing and storytelling may have improved in 'The Chamber of Secrets' but after 'The Philosopher's Stone' some things were predictable...

Hagrid could'nt possibly be the villain, could he?
Also, the pacing of the book through the school year was better.
