I've read through to Shards of a Broken Crown from memory and there were so many characters I really liked but in the end I ticked Arutha. Similar to what I posted in a which character would you be thread he's a middle child, who seemed to get a nice balance between responsibilities and privilage growing up thinking he would never rule, had some great adventures whilst young enough to enjoy them, found the love of his life and raised a happy family whilst earning the respect of a nation. What a guy

Amos did love his food and drink, so perhaps the reason he kept getting stabbed in the stomach was because it was the largest target available on him...

All that food and drink showed on him in the end! I remember how he told Arutha he was grateful for the lift in Armengar because he was too fat to walk up 25 storeys

Nakor, hands down is my all time favorite, hes just nakor, i can't think of anything to describe him, hes just always fun to read and can put a smile on my face.

My ideal group of character would have to be Nakor, Drizzt, Matt (from WoT), Bruenor (i nearly cried when i thought he died), Tomas, Talon (he'll always be Talon of the silver hawk to me) Pug, and Erik.......... Almost forgot Gandalf and Gimli

Jimmy the Hand is definitely my fav... quickly followed by Nakor and Dash. Oh and Calis... and Bobby. And William when he was little.
