Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* Yes william they are so called 'dead' until they find enough worshipers to come back again but we are saying that Nakor could possibly have a part of a god in himself similarly to Ralan Bek. 'That was a minor transgression,' said Macros. He sat back, then said, 'I tried to become a god remember?'

Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* I always pictured the gods as not dead but lost, so far from Midkemia that they have no power to manipulate events, Ishap is so strongly worshipped as the priests are trying to call him back or help him to find his way to return to midkemia? I may be wrong about this, but that was my take on the gods

Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* Yes but as the keepers said in Exile's Return, nothing actually dies - as in it doesn't cease to exist, it just changes into something else. Like if you throw a man into the fire, he becomes ash.

Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* So basically we are all just different forms of energy. But energy change sometimes cannot be reversed, so this might be what is happening with the blind gods

Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* In theory any energy change can be reveresed if you can put enough energy in to bring about that chnge, I think. To return Rathar and Mythar this would be something like: destroying all order and worshipping nothing at all, or returning the Valheru to Midkemia with them worshiping the Blind Gods. These were lost or 'died' because people started to worship more specific energy forms, e.g. Good, evil, fire, theivery and acted in such ways, thus forming more indivdual deities. As I see it anyways, where's that Gambler when you need him... I can't see Nakor being Ishap though, he mentions impulsiveness in his youth brought on by being touched by a God, not something I'd relate to Ishap. Anyone else ever wonder how much of the whole Gambling thing is just a front?

Re: Nakor (A God?) *Spoilers* Nakor has a 'sliver' of Kalkin. In "flight of the nighthawks", nakor talks to Pug how Ralan Bek had a similar childhood as himself. Later on Nakor talks to Bek about what makes him stop the dreams. Nakor says when ever he gambed, con'ed people the dreams would stop. Nakor as believes in tricks. As well as that Kalkin/Banath is looking after the 'realm of knowledge' until Wospur comes back. Banath is the trickster god.
