Re: Soldier Son - New Series Would be interesting to see replies on this topic as it is new I will be able to get it about a half a year after it is available in the english speaking world. I prefer to see a GRRM book come out before another Hobb novel as I like is style better but I would snatch another by her as well.

Re: Soldier Son - New Series I think here's a link for it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/...695735-8523603 I don't know how amazon already has a synopsis and all that good stuff, but from what they write things sound kind of dull. Also, it's due out in July 2005. Last edited by Neon; 16th January 2005 at 04:06 PM. Reason: wrong date

Re: Soldier Son - New Series i suppose it does sound a little bit boring Perhaps i will wait until i read some reviews when people buy it. It could be that the books not well presented and it's got some hidden treasures in the plot

Re: Soldier Son - New Series The publish date to that link says 4-07-05, which has already passed. But when I used it's link to amazon.com, amazon has it set at July 4, 2005. This new synopsis is certainly much more interesting than the old one though.

Re: Soldier Son - New Series Hmm. I am still in love with Fitz's character and his wolf, but I'm open to the new series, if the author is Robin Hobb. I hope I'll love it as much as the Farseers's trilogies. ![]()

Re: Soldier Son - New Series I just talked to my UK/Voyager Rep who has confirmed a August 1, UK release for those interested. I'm not sure how "new" it is but I was jsut sent this excerpt, and psoted it to my site (I am not promoting as I am bound to only use such promo info on my own site by the publisher) Check it out HERE Last edited by Ainulindale; 8th June 2005 at 03:49 PM.

| Re: Soldier Son - New Series Just received an email from Ms. Hobb ,who clerified that the excerpt I recieved from Harper's is outdated and this one (one we have seen) is the more accurate (my apologies for any inconveinience) Still no comment on the possibility of a delay: Quote:
