Re: Quiet...

Sod the calories. Christmas, as any hard-core Christian will tell you*, is all about mince pies, pudding, and After Eights

*may be factually inaccurate.

Re: Quiet...

odd christmas this year as i actually have some time off - makes a change from beating customers away at 4pm on christmas eve ("But i need to buy a present for me wife!") and then having to greet the hordes of refunders ("i got 4 of these for christmas because my family doesn't communicate") at 10am on the 26th.

so, a very merry xmas from chopper in meadowhall-land. please be nice to frazzled shop assistants over the festive/festering period....

Re: Quiet...

A Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all from Meadowhawk Press. It's been an exciting year, and the next just keeps getting brighter. Some of the great new friends we've made are here on Chronicles, and thanks to Brian for creating a place we could all meet.

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all enjoy the next few weeks (and have been enjoying the previous ones, however stressful they might be ). Here's hoping for some great book gifts

Re: Quiet...

Well a very merry Christmas to everyone.

On an earlier point - as a bloke I do my shopping 9am-11am on the 24th. Simple rule, walk into shop, see something, buy it walk out.

Since I live in the city centre travel and parking are no problem.

Someone is even going to help me out this year.
