| Re: who do you think will come out on top? Snaga did not give us a Stark option. Snow is not Stark. So I guess Rickon would be "Other." Oh, and I suppose I should vote now that Midnight nailed me down. My vote is Other: Dany, Sansa, and Aegon. |

| Re: who do you think will come out on top? Wait a sec, let me use some Horse Track parlance. I'm not betting on all three to show, i.e. to finish in the top three. Nor am I betting on them to place, i.e. to finish first or second. And I'm not betting on any of them to win straight out. I'm betting the trifecta, i.e. a specific combination of first, second and third. But my trifecta is not based on first, second, and third... my trifecta is that all three share the throne, i.e. all win. I think picking these three exact heads of the dragon is more difficult than just picking one. |

| Re: who do you think will come out on top? While I think my dear Tyrion will reek havoc and live to see the end, I had to go with Jon Snow (even though he is far from my favourite). I have said from the beginning that GRRM has set it up so that a bastard will inherit the Iron Throne and bring peace and stability to Westeros. |

| Re: who do you think will come out on top? I'd actually be somewhat surprised if the entire Kingdom was whole at the end of the series. I can see the big winners being either Jon or Dany (I chose Dany) but I just don't think there's going to be an Iron Throne anymore. At least not an Iron Throne that rules over both the north and south. |

| Re: who do you think will come out on top? Has anyone thought that the Grey Sheep just might win out in the end? I mean, the Dragon Prophecy may be fulfilled. Westeros might be saved from the Others. But what if that climactic conflict is the Last Great Hurrah for Magic, and the scheming Archmaesters actually succeed in their effort to make the world conform to their plans? |
