battlestar galactica this friday-who's watching? so i finally saw the mini-series that is the lead into the new series on the sci-fi channel. i know it was a bit cheesy, but frankly, i enjoyed it. i'm excited about the series this friday, will surely be watching the premiere. i hope it's good! so who else will be watching it?

Re: battlestar galactica this friday-who's watching? I didn't see the full mini-series, but I did watch the two-hour version that was on NBC the other night. Frankly, I'm not sure what to think or whether I'll watch or not. There were some intriguing aspects to it, especially at the end - I thought it was interetsting how Adama (Edward James Olmos' character, did I get the name correct?) was so quick to admit that Earth really was just a myth. There's something working in the background there, I think. On the other hand, I just don't know if I want to invest in watching another series. I wasn't a fan of the original series, for a number of reasons. littlemissattitude, at the library ![]()

Re: battlestar galactica this friday-who's watching? yeah, i wasn't too big a fan of the bit with earth at the end. it was a little too cheesy or if it is foreshadowing than it's way too obvious. regardless of this, i wouldn't mind another series for some entertainment. all i watch currently is everybody loves raymond and stargate sg-1. by the looks of the mini-series the new series isn't going to follow the path of the original too seriously. that's a good thing. well, we'll see on friday!
