| Re: Little random questions Upon which fork of the trident did Robert vanquish Rhaegar? I know it was at the Ruby Ford but I forgot which river fork that was on!  Was it the Red Fork? It sounds the most fitting in my opinion but that could take the battle quite far west and I imagined it took place in the middle of the Riverlands. |

| Re: Little random questions GoH, The map in my edition of ACOK shows the Kingsroad crossing the Trident below (east of) the connection of the three forks. I assume the ford is the crossing of the Kingsroad... this is also the place where the High Road to the Vale and the road west to Riverrun meet. |

| Re: Little random questions isn't it referred to as the Ruby Ford because of the ruby-wrought Targaryen emblem on Rhaegar's breastplate, and the popular belief that the rubies fell out of their settings and were swept into the river? thats what i always thought at least. |
