Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny Awesome picture. A little confusing though, is the hound really taller than Shadowthrone, or is it just the perspective?

Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny Great, this hound. I love G.R.R. Martin, but I voted for Zelazny. As for Erikson, I'm beginning Gardens. My first impression: good, very good, but not in the same division than the other two. Less depth than in Martin; nothing to do with Zelazny's style and humour. But we are talking graphism, here, not style, aren't we? Can we see more? (And I hope that the Amber cycle is an ongoing project...)

Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny The Hound... I don't know, it just doesn't seem quite right to me. Perhaps it's because I have my own 'image' of the hounds...It is well drawn though ![]()

Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny Thank you all for taking the time to vote, and I'm really happy that you really like what you see. Thanks and I really appreciate your help ![]() Giovanna my friend, in Malazan, you don't really get what it is truly happening until book three and by then you are so immersed into the book you just can't stop, lol But you are right, he is a completely different writer than Mr. Martin and Mr. Zelazny ![]()

Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny Love the sketches and art, really well done and yes the Hounds of Shadow I always thought of as being REALLY BIG! The only Hound being compared in size would be Lady Envy's pet Garath, which I think is even larger then the Hounds of Shadow, or at least it had the ability to become larger when the need presented itself. Also I dont understand when you put Ericksons Malazan books into the pol and not GRRM's A song of Ice and Fire series, which I think is much more comparable. Anyway I never voted because of that....

Re: Steven Erikson, George R.R. Martin, Roger Zelazny I think this poll was biased against GRRM. They chose something nto even written by GRRM to represent him in order to bolster support for Erikson. Obviously he couldn't win in a fair contest, but I just wanted it to be noted that I am on to your duplicity.
