| Re: Books you look forward to in 2008 OMG a new one to add to the list of boks to look forward to in 2008 Anathem - Neal Stephenson Stephenson returns to Sci-Fi with a 900 page Space Opera in September. Although it will probably have some sort of Mathematics in it. |

| Re: Books you look forward to in 2008 1. The Red Wolf Conspiracy by Robert VS Redick - comes out April here! 2. Kraken (or whatever it might be called) by China Mieville - if this book even exists... no-one seems to know 3. Lamplighter (Monster Blood Tattoo book 2) by DM Cornish |

| Re: Books you look forward to in 2008 1 - A Dance with Dragons (of course ), George RR Martin2 - Toll the Hounds ( and any of the new novella's relating to the Malazan world), Steven Erikson 3 - The Last Argument of Kings, Joe Abercrombie 4 - Fables, Bill Willingham - waiting for the next volume after the 10th - Good Prince 5 - Fullmetal Alchemist, Hiromu Arakawa -18 manga's already out and still ongoing! I have 10 at hand, and already looking into buying the next 8. These are actually pretty good (leagues better IMHO than a lot of above-average/good western comics/graphic novels), but the problem is that this might go on and on and on (which is usually the case with Japanese comics), wish they'd wrap up the whole storyline like the cool vertigo titles; Sandman, Preacher et al. so that collecting them wouldn't be such a hassle. What I hear about this book kindle hopes that this might become a new Great Atmosphere reading experience. Just the cover is enough reason to buy it: ![]() Reminds me of The Scar by China Miéville. Mmm... | |
