Question 'bout the Finger-Dance

So, was talkin with a few peeps and we cant seem to decide. Is the Finger-dance where the players throw axes at each other, catch them and throw them back or is it where you splay your hand on a table and stab it between each finger fast?

Based on the description given in one of Theon's chapters in ACOK, it appears that the finger dance is people throwing axes at each other. The game usually ends when someone doesn't catch the axe correctly and ends up losing a few fingers or even an entire hand.

Asha has one of the players throw one of the axes to her so she can make a jest at Theon's expense.

Yea that's the scenario I was more leaning towards and the one LoW uses for Finger-Dances atm. Cool.
