the cultures that aren't still influenced by the goa'uld cling to the beliefs that everyone around them believes.
in some cases the goa'uld left and never came back, in others, yes, they do visit by ha'tac just so say "i still control you,".
a second stargate (s1 solitudes) was brought 2 earth to re-instate goa'uld rule.. i think. since the first stargate was buried and rendered inactive, the goa'uld brought a new one that would pick up any earth-bound wormholes. i dont know what happened there.
the only reason goa'uld took people through the stargate was for slaves. once they had enough i dont think they'd come back for more. |
