Dragon Orb - A taster!

If you can't wait to see what I've done to the story that started as 'Dawn Dragon' here at Chronicles, then you might like to have a look on my website here: Mark Robson » Dragon Orb Series All the covers for the series are now available to view and the first chapter of Firestorm is available to read on the 'more information' page for that book.

Enjoy.

Ooooh, I'm torn between Shadow and Longfang as my favourites!

Hmmm...Where do i seem to recognise art like that from?!
Smaug doesn't happen to make an appearance in there does he! (Joke, obviously)
Definately the right artist, and also the right author!

I am trying not to read more than the first few paragraphs though, not gonna be easy.

Oh, very nice, Mark! I can't imagine there will be many young readers who could resist the combination of that cover art and that first chapter.

(The other covers are stunning, too.)

Very nice! I don't think I'm going out on a limb here to say that Aurora has to be my favorite! (though Firestorm's electric blue is most eye catching!)

Love the cover art, Mark - the series will look great together on a bookshelf! And I really enjoyed what you've done to the first chapter of Firestorm since I last saw it. Thanks for the taster!

Oh, really? What a surprise!

Actually, I tend to agree, though. I think that last cover is just wonderful. It really captures the femininity of the dragon well.

And thank you, Patrick - a lot of the changes were courtesy of my new editor. She's really rather good at what she does (but don't tell her I said that!) so I think you'll be impressed with the rest of the book, too.

I think Shadow looks the best, followed by Longfang.
They look cool, i'd better start taking some books off my bookcase to make room.

Aurora is the coolest, followed by shadow.
