MyFootballClub

I suppose this is news.....

BBC SPORT | Football | My Club | Ebbsfleet United | Fan website agrees club takeover
Quote:
Fans' community website MyFootballClub has agreed a deal to take over Blue Square Premier outfit Ebbsfleet United. The 20,000 MyFootballClub members have each paid £35 to provide a £700,000 takeover pot and they will all own an equal share in the club.
Any other members of MyFootballClub here?

Re: MyFootballClub

A couple of weeks. Some people will forget, others will not bother. There will be insults and fights. Ebbsfleet are doomed to fail now.

Re: MyFootballClub

Ebbsfleet must be in trouble then...only joking

I still cannot see how this will work. Does it go on the majority of the votes and do all the shareholders need to vote?

Good luck Pyan though. You do your bit and hope the others do theres.

Well, the options (Players, formation, tactics, etc) are posted on the MFC website - members choose what they think will do best, email their choice back to the club., the votes are collated by computer, and the team play those choices..
We also have a say on transfers, signings, etc, plus deals on tickets and seats.

Oh, I agree, we'll need the luck - but at least it takes the power away from the rich single owner scenario, and gives it to people that are genuinely football fans.

Re: MyFootballClub

So, first signing... Ronaldinho? Seriously, if you stumped up another £3k a person, you could probably afford him!
