DM of the Rings

Not sure how many of you people have heard of this stuff but a friend told me about it. I guess it would be funnier if you play D&D *cough* like me *cough* but I still think you would like it.

Re: DM of the Rings

I once got rejected from a D&D circle. That has to be the lowest of the low in terms of social humiliation

Re: DM of the Rings

what the heck did you do?
wait - if its that bad don't tell - I like sleeping without bad dreams

as for the site - I read the whole thing in one go - very funny, and very accurate selection of images to get the right facial expression

Re: DM of the Rings

D&D is role playing...with dice. Its fun some might say. I say that too, mainly for getting to hang around with my friends.

Re: DM of the Rings

I used to play a lot of MERP ( Middle Earth Roleplaying - it's an oldie, but a goodie). I always got to be god, and got moaned at when characters died lol.

I got them all to roll nice wussy little characters, and made a random roll to see what they'd be up against as they travelled - They did quite well against the felbeast.

D&D. I love it! Such fun to play with people who really care for such things.

Anyway, thanks for them Maji and Overread. I've bookmarked them both

Nice to know that the 'Darths and Droids' gets updated three times a week. Something to look forward to after school me thinks.

Re: DM of the Rings

Ha! Great stuff this Shamus creates. And yes, I also believe DnD is fun...when you have a group of semi-intelligent individuals who can manage there own character and advent some other inspiration for playing other than hack and slash, gain exp, and garner material wealth.

Re: DM of the Rings

Hey I got two friends who work everything out for me. I know very little about D&D. I'm learning though.
