Re: A Quest: To Look For What?

- a lock of hair that was transformed into rock crystal

- a coat of mail that sings when the battle is over

- a stickable grain de beaute' that reveals the hidden thoughts of the one who wears it

- a shield that prevents the bearer from resenting offence

Re: A Quest: To Look For What?

I like some of the ideas said so far (potato, fingernails, banner) but I was thinking....since your world is sort of like after the collapse of the Roman Empire stuff....then how about a standard like a golden eagle or something?

Re: A Quest: To Look For What?

How 'bout I get off my lazy rear and actually write anything. If it is horrid beyond belief, I still will have a basis for rewriting. Work, school for work, school so I can find different work, a kid, a kid's mom... I want a vacation.

Re: A Quest: To Look For What?

But you have pauses between "the flames", don't you? You should write whenever you can, it doesn't matter how sloppy it will be.

And on vacation... you'll be able to read and arrange it, and fix up every kind of errors.
