| Re: There are doors Yep, been there and done that. It's an interesting work whose images tend to stay with you well after the book has been completed. It's described more as being magic realism rather than Gene's more traditional Fantasy or SF. As usual with any book by Gene Wolfe, you gain more insights each time you read this novel. If you liked his Book Of The New Sun, Long Sun and Short Sun you may like this even if it is quite different in tone and content. Have you read anything else by him? |
