Flygin, I agree with you there. I have a backpack, it carries all that I need and it doesn't have any logos. I don't see the point in spending heaps on purse or bag or cloths for that matter.
I went to Melbourne a few years ago for a conference and had to go through the Casino to get to my hotel, so I looked in at all the swish shops and was amazed Versace had a plain black t-shirt, no labels, nothing, just a black t-shirt. it was poly-cotton blend and made in China and they were asking $500 for it. I can go to K-mart and get a plain black cotton t-shirt for $20!! Its ridiculous

Oh I can, and I am one...

Why do so many women spend well over their means? I have friends that are in debt up to their eyeballs, driving brand new rides. Now I have about 3 g in CC debt and then my 30 g in school loans. But I know women who even in this kind of debt still have to buy the expensive clothes, jewelry and so forth. (I know men that do the same thing, but its usually toys) I just don't get how, if you can't pay your bill now, why are you shopping at Macy's when you should be shopping with me at the Salvation Army? Boggles my mind, it does, why so many women worry about being pretty. I mean, I can understand if you have a high powered professional career, but a stay at home mom spending a few hundred on new outfits and shoes every month? And driving two brand new cars? And asking to borrow money from me because they are out of groceries?--which I will give, because they have kids to feed, or I'll give them some of my groceries--but DANG woman! Stop buying crap!

(Once again, not being sexist, just stating my perception).

I have a complaint about women. Why do so many of them act dumb? Can anyone illuminate this? I mean, is it trendy? Am I behind in the times? And why are the dumb ones always the ones with partners?

You know, some of them probably are not acting. But there is an odd trend, I notice men seem to act smarter than they actually are (except Chronos boys, of course) and women act dumber.......why is that? There is no logical answer. Perhaps it has to do with the inherited instinct, man, from way back when days, has to fluff his feathers. Woman, from the way back when days, is expected to be docile. But even that has a logical reason, in the way back when days, man was the hunter, the leader. Woman, while not weak by any means, was the gatherer, the nurturer. Thus, in decisions that had to be made about things that were violent in nature but necessary for survival, the man usually made these decisions, and that man had to show that he was worthy of making those decisions. Women did not make these decisions, generally speaking, but had to be ready to follow the man who made those decisions. Consider the opposite in the feline world, the cat that hunts for food is usually the female, the male hangs out with the kittens. Female cats are therefore more naturally aggressive and verbose when angry, male cats are relatively lazy, it takes a lot to get a male cat riled up. The female cat also chooses the den. The male cat just nurtures and protects the den. Therefore, the male cat must succumb to the female cats choices. Not so much being docile as following the lead of the one with more experience. If that makes any sense.
