Wanted: News writers

As some of you may or may not know, I run a number of sites unrelated to chronicles - but which pay the bills at chronicles.

This includes a series of small news sites in the finance and technology sectors - and I'm currently looking to expand the staff team to write for these sites.

What I'm looking for:

- People to rewrite press releases and news items (sources provided)
- People who can work 1 or 2 hours per weekday
- People who will contribute regularly to specified sites
- People with a good standard of English, who can write in an objective manner

The pay isn't brilliant at £7/hour, but as you're effectively working for yourself and at your own pace, with no grumpy boss looking over your shoulder, it can be far less stressful than other work.

Additionally, for those not currently working, it allows the ability to earn a small income as required, and potentially under the income tax threshold as well.

Sounds good Brian and I would love to do it but just have too much to do at the moment. Filming for a movie rehearsing a musical at school takes up a bit of my time at the moment.

Well I've been a specialist tech writer for the past seven years and in the I.T. caper for last 15, so I suppose I may fit the bill.

The only problem is I don't think I could do even 1 hr/day at the moment but maybe longer term I could help out? Not sure how this works if I'm O/S in OZ, any issues there? I do actually run my own registered business, mainly operating as a contractor.

I may drop you a line in the near future Brian. I plan to finally get internet access to the house by the end of this week.

The positive is that with the dollar down 7 pounds is worth a lot more in Aussie dollar goodness.

Weird I know. Basically I moved recently to a new place, so that's the main reason. Just haven't had much time to set up again.
