| Martian slideshow... and intent to put man on Mars by 2037... Well, even though some of these repeat, there are several very nifty pictures on here for those who'd like to see some of the Mars mission(s).... Mars Exploration on Yahoo! Oh....my god.......that one of the Vallis Marineris, the second photo? *drools* Ever since I read Kim Stanley Robinson's Mars trilogy, I've had a very vivid image of what it would be like on Mars. I know that some people find those books very dry and boring, but I loved his vision in them....... By his timescale, we're already way behind schedule.......  |

| Re: Martian slideshow... and intent to put man on Mars by 2037... I'm terribly under-read when it comes to hard-SF, I'm afraid!  That was just a series I read when I was a teenager that really fired my imagination regarding Mars. |
