hi - I'm from Sydney Australia and I was thinking of moving to Vancouver

(tho doubt I'll be able to any time soon)

and I was wondering - I'ld like to get to know a few people and do some networking but also - most of the canadian yahoo chatrooms seem to be full of teenagers
(with apologies and by way of explanation - unfortunately the sort of teenagers who seem to go online stoned and / or hunting for adults to attack - and I'm not being 40 something

does anyone know of any bulletin boards or chatrooms for vancouver residents who are artists actors or scripters or OLDER expat aussies working over seas

or just any bbs /chatrooms frquented by older sensible intelligent BC vanc residents who are not just on line hunting dates and cybersex?

who might want to talk aor just gossip bout the film / tv industry
or just simpler things like walking thru bc 's parks whatever?
