Anyone know this book/author? - Science Fiction Fantasy Chronicles: forums

Years ago I started and never finished a book but was fascinated by it and would love to pick it back up. It is a fantasy quest series and the one I picked up (I was in the NAVY at sea at the time so read whatever I could get my hands on) had a young man as a main character who found a dragon's ancient treasure room and a really big suit of armor. He put it on and was physically and spiritually infused with the life force of the original owner. The original ower was a member of some kind of near god like elf race so this young man went through a lot of changes and became the ressurrected return of the ancient being while still retaining a tenous hold of his humanity. They were dragon lords and ruled the whole place.

I know this might sound corny but I really got into it but got side tracked in the Persian Gulf.

Does the little bit of detail I provide ring any bells for anyone?

Oh bother...I read it a few years ago, names on the tip of my tongue! If no one else knows the title, I'll pop down the library and see if I can find it.

sounds a awful lot like Magician to me although that was only really a side plot for tomas to the main story of Pug

I agree. It sounds an awful like a side plot for Tomas in Magician, by Raymond Feist.

Have a question,

When I select the forum's : USA Amazon Store link I am redirected to Amazon's UK portal. Since I'm in the US I'll have to change the url. My concern is I want this to go through this site. Can someone alert the web master and have him change the re-direct?
