Similar to Solar wind

My search is for a picture book!? I remember reading it in the late 70's early 80's, I was just a kid so the details are a bit sketchy. It was full of pictures -or more acurately 'space scapes', pictures of wrecked spaceships adrift in space & that type of thing. I recently purchased a similar book called solar wind by a guy named Peter Jones with very similar themes & artwork. Anyone have any ideas? or could you direct me to another forum?
Cheers
Simon

Re: Similar to Solar wind

Yes! I have the original three of them: they are by Stewart Cowley and Charles Herridge:

Great Space Battles
Spacewreck
Spacecraft 2000-21000 AD

There is one other I do not have. They are written like history books and all the pictures have stories they are also known as the Terran Trade Authority Handbooks. ABsolutely awesome series, there was a fourth recently published I think this year with computer animation and what not, absolutely lost the coolness of the original books. They have quite a few used ones on amazon. (I wish I had the internet when I bought these, I had looked for years hunting them down...thank god for the internet eh?)
